La Xara is de verfijnde Garnacha van Bodegas Ponce, afkomstig uit de hooggelegen, kalkrijke bodems van Manchuela. De wijngaarden liggen op ruim 800 meter hoogte, wat zorgt voor een optimale frisheid en langzame rijping. De druiven zijn biodynamisch verbouwd en worden met de hand geoogst. Fermentatie met inheemse gisten en rijping in grote gebruikte eikenhouten vaten zorgen voor een natuurlijke expressie van de druif. De wijn is lichtvoetig, puur en intens tegelijk: aroma’s van aardbei, framboos en viooltjes worden aangevuld met een subtiele kruidigheid. La Xara is een schoolvoorbeeld van hoe elegant Garnacha kan zijn, zonder aan spanning of karakter in te boeten.

Proefnotitie

Licht robijnrood van kleur. De geur is verfijnd met tonen van rijp rood fruit, bloemen en witte peper. In de mond zacht en fris met fijne zuren, elegant rood fruit en een lange, minerale afdronk.

Drinken bij

Heerlijk bij kruidige groentegerechten, lamskoteletten, gegrilde paprika of mediterrane ovenschotels. Ook perfect licht gekoeld bij een borrelplank.

Houdbaarheid

Nu op dronk en houdbaar tot 5 à 6 jaar na de oogst.
