De Kutch Santa Cruz Mountains Mindego Ridge Pinot Noir is een prachtige expressie van de Californische koelklimaatwijnen. Deze Pinot Noir wordt met grote zorg en passie gemaakt, waarbij de druiven afkomstig zijn van wijngaarden op grote hoogte in de Santa Cruz Mountains. Dit terroir zorgt voor een lange rijpingstijd, waardoor de wijn een mooie diepgang en complexiteit ontwikkelt.

In het glas toont deze wijn een heldere robijnrode kleur en een elegante neus met aroma’s van rode bessen, kersen en een lichte kruidigheid. In de mond is hij verfijnd en soepel, met een fijne balans tussen frisheid en zachte tannines. De subtiele aardse tonen geven extra karakter en maken hem perfect om langzaam van te genieten.

Deze Pinot Noir is een echte aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een verfijnde, maar toegankelijke Californische rode wijn met een eigen signatuur.

Proefnotitie

Heldere robijnrode kleur. In de neus frisse rode vruchten zoals kers en framboos, met een vleugje lichte kruidigheid. In de smaak soepel en elegant, met een fijne zurenstructuur en zachte tannines. Subtiele aardse tonen geven diepte aan de wijn.

 

Drinken bij

Deze wijn gaat uitstekend samen met lichte vleesgerechten zoals kalkoen, kip of eend, maar ook bij zalm, gevogelte met aardse sauzen en zachte kazen komt hij volledig tot zijn recht.

 

Houdbaarheid

Op z’n mooist tussen 3 en 15 jaar na de oogst.
