Sour-cream and cooked-apple nose. Loose bead but it's by no means flabby. Like the 7 Crus, it has breadth but the fruit tastes riper and richer. Peaches and very intense citrus. Round finish.

Pascal Agraparts Campagne Terroirs is afkomstig van 100% grand cru-wijngaarden in de Côte des Blancs. Omdat Agrapart uitsluitend chardonnaydruiven gebruikt, mag deze wijn blanc de blancs genoemd worden. Daarmee behoort deze Champagne tot de top in dit gebied. De bekendheid van deze ambachtelijke boeren-Champagne is echter gering. Dit in tegenstelling tot de grote handelshuizen die veel geld besteden aan reclame om hun wijnen te verkopen. Agrapart ziet zijn relatieve onbekendheid overigens niet als een nadeel. Hij zegt zelf: "Mijn Champagne is gemaakt voor de echte liefhebber en niet voor de etikettendrinker!"
